Welcome to my Flickr space and thank you for visiting...I hope you enjoy viewing my images.
Thanks to everyone whose views, comments and faves have been so complimentary over the last 5 years.
About me:
I like to travel and enjoy nature, bird and macro photography. When viewing my images, if you wish to comment, please try to be honest. Constructive criticism is welcomed.
I returned to photography as a hobby several years ago after a break of 15 or so years. I found the Nikonians community a great help. www.nikonians.org/
I was married for over 27 years to my soul mate Marion, but tragically lost her to cancer in the autumn of 2009. In total we had 32 very happy years together. I am currently recovering from this loss, and I am fortunate to have two wonderful sons, James aged 26, and Sean aged 31. My family has always been, and will always be, the most important part of my life!
Please note:
Due to the fact that real life takes up quite a bit of my time, I may not always be able to reply to your comments on a timely basis, and I do not always reciprocate by commenting on your images, just because you have commented on mine. I don't like self promotion, so please do not post your own images with your comment, unless it is completely relevant.
Thank you :)
I'm sorry, but Blockheads (no icon) without any profile or viewable photos of their own will be blocked...these people usually just steal my images!

His work is a joy to keep up with, and the better I get to know him, the more I realize just how fortunate I was to encounter him early on. Great knowing you, my friend.
