In my mind, photography is about discovery and visual expression. Capturing images is like creating pages in a book - pages that tell a story without using words. I make photographs to learn about the world. It's all about discovering life itself.

Every image is a very thin slice of time and reality, at least so far as the photographer perceives reality. Whether a viewer sees that image as art; as a visual metaphor, or as a simple document should not be of critical importance to the person who created it.
