I find photography as a way of opening myself up to everything - I now look around with a different eye and a different viewpoint, and carry a camera everywhere!

I am based in New Zealand at the moment, a country that was made for photography it seems, but I also get to travel to different and sometimes remote places with my work as a volcanologist. I find landscapes the best to photo, as they change so much with the day and the year. There is something very satisfying about being in the right place for a beautiful view or sunset, and capturing it perfectly, and something even better to share it with others here.
