I have been interested in photography for over 40 years, generally around my other hobbies. I used to play rugby and enjoy most sports - although I have to create more sporting photo opportunities.

I have been lucky to travel quite a bit on business, on holidays and visiting friends and family - always with a camera close to hand.

I moved over to digital about 10 years ago and have relished the change. Flickr has been a source of inspiration. I have also been on a couple of Wild Arena events - Marwell Zoo and Big Cats 2 - where I have learned a lot from them and the other participants. I feel that my photography has improved as a result. I'll leave you to decide for yourself.

I have recently moved to Leeds and I am finding great opportunities in my new surroundings.
