I've always loved taking pictures. My closet is FULL of photo albums. Now, my computer is FULL of albums.

I'm lucky to have a son that is an excellent photographer to give me tips and advice. You can see some of his photos at here

He's not as prolific as I am and I wish he would take, and post, more photos!

If you look in my photostream you'll see I like taking pictures of birds, roses and my dog, Sconey. It's been about seven years since I started with birding and I'm really enjoying it. I can't thank those enough here on Flickr that have been my inspiration in taking pictures of birds. I've learned so much from my friends and fellow bird photographers here, even though I still have much to learn!

I also enjoy traveling. Call me the happy traveler. I especially love road trips. Camping or hotels, it is all good! I always take the camera with me because you never know what you might find. I've been very lucky to see so many wonderful places over the years and plan to do a lot more traveling in the coming years.
