Nowadays, I myself am devoted to making panoramic photographs of locations that have a story. You can surf in panoramas right-clicking on the links and "opening in new tab". What I can say is read a lot, practice a lot and do not hesitate to ask to the photographers you like or follow. Do not publish every photo you've taken, do have a self control.
