As well as looking and taking pictures through my own view finder - I also enjoy looking at the world through the eyes of other Flickr contributors. I find the perspectives of others that I follow to be unique, inspiring and insightful. I love & appreciate beauty in all its forms. One day I wish to have a gallery big enough to display my favourites up on a wall for all to see.

I am especially attracted to art and portrait photography, or to photography that expresses or triggers an emotional response or engagement from the viewer; less so from the technical merits, although quite important, they are only a means to an end, and not an end in itself.

My motivation here is to be learn, to be inspired, to support and inspire others, and to be a better photographer.

You are most welcome to make comments, in preference to receiving flashing graphics or group logos and awards. Your own words, comments and opinions matter so much more. The only award I will ever give is a favourite star and perhaps whatever words come to my mind.
