I consider myself a Photographer on the Run. Most of my photographs are taken during work trips to national parks, although I spend as much time on vacations in national parks as well. I get up well before dawn for sunrise photos, and then head back for a day of meetings. As time allows, I'll go out photographing until dark. I think it's important to give back, so I always provide the park with a copy of my photos for their use.

Many of the parks I visit have incredible night skies. I’m just beginning to experiment with this and haven't been too successful yet. Seeing all of the night sky photos on Flickr and in Outdoor Photographer Magazine, has given me incentive to keep trying to perfect my skills.
