I decide to write my first testimonial for Pablo, a young, creative and inspiring graphic designer and lomographer that I have long admired. I know a number of lomographers who are professional graphic designers, but Pablo is different from all others. It is evident in his works that he sees this world through graphics, even when he takes pictures. That might explain his obsession with lines, patterns, staircases, hands and other small and simple details which are so beautifully captured yet so often ignored. The titles of his photos are another testimony of how creative he can be. I got to know him, though, through his pictures of his native Grand Canary Islands, a place so far yet so familiar to me since that was where my favourite writer, San Mao, once lived with her prince Jose. I especially enjoy Pablo's travel photos, which always make me want to travel myself. I am expecting to see more of his great works in the years to come!
