Hi and welcome to my flickr section.

I've been taking photos in anger since 1997 when I just felt the need to. Since then I've gone through loads of kit good and bad and have now settled on Nikon Digital in the form of my beloved D2x.

If you hadn't guessed by looking through my photo stream, I love fishing and taking photographs of fishing-related subjects. That's mainly due to my day job as head of photography at Europe's largest angling publisher's, DHP Ltd. I love what angling offer photographically and what challenges it presents to get the shot that an editor will want to give cover space to. I'm infactuated with learning more about off-camera flash, but I still love that classiness you get from available light, hence why there's a real mix of styles.

I've also got on show lots of personal work; I don't specialise in any one style. I just love pressing the shutter button when i see something I like.
