A lifelong journey of walking with the Heavenly Shepherd has given Patricia hope and courage to pursue her dream of writing and a desire to encourage others.

Patricia has woven life experience into her desire to portray the 23rd Psalm for today’s reader. She received B.S. and M.A. degrees in Human Resources, Family and Child Development from Eastern Michigan University. Throughout her career as a Secondary Teacher and Family Consumer Science Educator with the University of Wyoming, she has equipped audiences with the capacity to think creatively as well as adhere to resilient components of faith, courage, and integrity in a multi-generational setting. Her maiden name, McClaflin, stirs those thoughts of Ireland and childhood, so it would be chosen as the pen name. Patricia’s present legal name is also the last name of her son and his children, so she honors this name as well.
