"Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst." - Henri Cartier-Bresson
I'm a software engineer, an adjunct instructor in Christian spiritual formation and Celtic Christianity, a husband and fatherx2, a fan of cars and motorcycles and bicycles, a chronic migraineur, a musician and music photographer, a gardener, a failed church planter, a reader.
I love photography that reminds me of simplicity and reality. Consequently, I think HDR should be punishable by life imprisonment in 99% of cases.
My main photo site is at and ishootyoulive.com/. Find me also at about.me/patl/ and www.facebook.com/iShootYouLive.
I love photography, because it makes me observe the world that I normally stumble through.
I shoot digital (Fujifilm X100s, Canon 1D Mk II and Canon 30D are my primary bodies) and film (various, but a Bessa R and a couple of Olympus XA's are always handy).
I love to shoot music and musicians, travel and events, or anything that catches my eye.

Pat is an amazing person and he does some great photography too! =)

He takes his camera with him everywhere it seems and he takes shots throughout his journey to work and around the Snoqualmie Valley. I feel like I'm seeing the world through his eyes and… Read more
