I have been a United Methodist pastor for 30 years, serving mainly in town and rural areas. I am a Certified Rural Chaplain and I have a second Masters in Liturgical Arts. I believe we were made in the Creator's image and thus meant to be creative ourselves.
I love photography - it provides a means of sharing the world as we see it with other people. Each of us sees the world in our own unique way. In the photos I make I attempt to capture a tiny, brief glimpse of the wonders I encounter along the Way.
I have been joyously married for 38 years and have three incredible daughters (no bias there!). My oldest daughter is a volunteer coordinator for a children's hospital, my middle daughter is a teacher. My youngest shares my love for photography and has a natural gift for composition that I envy. You can see her photos at: www.flickr.com/photos/23220587@N04/ She is an Occupational Therapist.
I have traveled to Guatemala five times on mission projects and two of my daughters have been part of the teams on several trips. The beauty of the people and the country is absolutely amazing and I have tried to share some of it in my photography.
