DushiYanthini Kanagasabapathipillai is a journalist/photojournalist hails from VadaliYadaippu (North of Sri Lanka), and resides in Sri Lanka. She captures culture, conflict, events,nature,peace,people,tradition and so on. She is pleased and proud to note that she is the first Tamil woman journalist in Sri Lanka to travel on her own and, capture the moments in her camera. She is a self-taught artist as well. She beautifully knits and does hand embroidery in her spare time.

She has extensive years of experience in the field of journalism and thriving to promote ethical journalism. She has widely traveled locally and globally to capture many moments of life. And, she trains budding journalists in Sri Lanka and abroad.
