I'm retired from the Telephone company and started a horse farm in upstate New York. I started my photography in 1969 with a Cannon FX SLR, which had no through the lens meter and you had to adjust F-stop for every filter, lens you put on. I did my own darkroom developing (black and white of course) but I'm finally into the digital realm. I've still used my Cannon AE1 these past few years for action shots but I'm ready to upgrade to a digital that will give me the power and tools to upgrade my shots. I found out about Flickr a few weeks ago and realized I had 40 years of pictures sitting in boxes. I will be doing some scanning to recover the cream of the crop. I have been blown away by many of the photo's I've seen and the wonderful people who are sharing them with the world. It's a new world, and I'm glad to be aboard!
