Based in Portland, Oregon, Josh Partee was formally trained as an architect and has worked in 4 local design firms over the past 10 years. Since making the transition to professional photographer his love for the building process and architecture have kept him working alongside designers, making sure their projects look their best in print and on-screen. His work has been shown in galleries, online, magazines, and featured in books.

When he's not out shooting, Josh enjoys medium-format black & white printing in the darkroom, a good whiskey, making things with his hands, and roughing it around the world with a camera bag. When traveling, he likes to remind himself and others that, "If you don't touch it, it's not real. If you don't make a photo, it never happened."
