had a photoshoot over the weekend...having a hard time with skin tones in digital...it might just be the cheap G series lens i bought for autofocus...can't quite yet afford the D series and it might hurt the skin tones. (i shot plenty of film though to make up for my digital shortcomings...) got some studio equipment and can't wait to create some shots.

i am learning more photoshop/web design every day (i am one of those people who studied film and the coming of the age of digital photos put me off for a couple of years....so bear with me while i teach myself digi world.) and i have relaunched a new and improved website for myself today, though i still haven't learned remote rollovers. or rollovers at all for that matter. i am still reading... . and, i have a photoshoot this week that should prove to be a lot of fun...stand by for portraits. the drummer in me is in partial retirement for the summer.

back from playing toronto...(one of my photos was published in the last ever edition of DOSE!) cold for late may but a good city. ate every meal in chinatown, yum! made lots of new friends and played with great bands: Broken Tree Fort, Rozasia, Alex Lucashevsky, Hoover Party, Tradition, The Corners, Nifty. all toronto bands. all great. they stay out late. they smash their clocks. got the holga film. better up the iso. got a zoom for the the d100: 28-100 mm. didn't get that many rock fotos because i play the drums, too. will do better at the WE fest this weekend. bringing the tripod and a remote switch. blahging here: parkermeyer.blogspot.com/
