So far I have owned and used five cameras.

First one was a compact Fuji, which I hope to find again in the attic.

Second, a Pentax P30N SLR, mostly with a basic second hand asahi 50mm lens. I used it for about thirteen years.

Number three came when I decided to go autofocus, just before the age of digital cameras. Canon 300V, with the standard zoom. Never quite happy with it.

Shortly after, number four, my first digital camera. Nikon Coolpix 4600, point and shoot and I was surprised by the quality of the photos.

Number five is my current camera, an Olympus e420 digital SLR, so far only with a pancake 25mm lens. I love it.

If there is a point to this story it might be that I never bought the same make twice.
