Goodbye Flickr!

It's been nice knowing you.

When you were born, you promised that you'd never delete any of the photos we would upload. You enticed us to sign up as Pros to get more space and enhanced features. We're still waiting for the features. Actually, this is an exageration, we stopped waiting a long time ago. It all started to unravel when you sold out to Yahoo. There was a good thing going, but Yahoo had enough money to buy you out.

Now Yahoo is poor and got bought out by someone else. Our photos are being deleted.

I was stoopid enough to think that what you were promising 15 years ago would last...

I'm tired of the changes of ownership that force onto us users new "terms of service". You always go on about "providing (us) with a better service". F*CK you. You don't want to offer us a better service. You just want to make more money from the stuff we put online for free. F*CK THAT. I'm done.

This year, I'm getting rid of Yahoo, Flickr, Skype and Gogol. I haven't used much of most of them for the past couple of years, so that's not going to be a big loss.
