For as long as I can remember, I wanted to take pictures. I didn’t know what I wanted to take pictures of. I do remember my mom being upset with me. "Why did you take those pictures of the firefighters?" I wanted to tell the story of the fire. "Why didn’t you take more pictures of family?' Now, of course I take pictures of family. I always have.

I've been doing street photography since the 1990s. In any case I knew I wanted digital cameras. Film was very difficult for me. There was so much waiting involved. Storage was a problem. And that went on and on.

The first digital camera that I’m aware of happened in 1981 it was the Sony Mavica. By the 2000s I was trying different digital cameras. But I always felt let down. Back to film I went.

Then digital cameras became good around 2010. Over time many companies were making really good cameras. By 2015. There were more really good digital camera cameras.

I’ve always done street photography in someway. Be film or digital. Street photography is who I am. There isn’t another style I can really do. Although I’m passable at some of them.

I also compose songs and write lyrics. I tell stories in the lyrics. The music is like a conversation. I have a band.
