I live in Paris with two dogs, three cats and my wife. Spare time is spent doing things with hands - telescope making, Origami, pottery, restoring furniture, general building work. I collect antiques, junk, bric-a-brac (only essential) and books.
I am principally interested in Science, Nature, Art and their innate magic. Origami is a wonderfully expressive melting pot of all these. Science elucidates the geometry and maths, which is reflected in nature, and expressed in art. The magic of a flat sheet of paper being 'tugged here' or 'blown' in, there to assume a new form, has thrilled me since I learnt how to make a waterbomb. The raw material of origami - paper, is also a passion of mine.
