Okay, I know its not "proper" to be a railroad official and to also be a fan... but darn it, trains are an integral part of our heritage in the United States. There is such an amazing story to be told of how railroads touched so many people, communities, industries... created jobs, carried loved ones back home, inspired songwriters, and enabled our economic engine. Who couldn't find it within themselves on some level to like (love) trains or the related infrastructure? To all those enthusiasts who capture the images of our industry... Thank You! And please remember... respect the railroad... it can offer spectacular views and images... but can also cause you to lose your life if you are in the wrong place at the right time...
