Photography is an unrealized dream!

My passion is to photograph subjects we see in everyday life, and yet unnoticed. The intent is to offer a new perspective of mundane subjects, by applying visual interest using shadows, texture, shape and spatial relationships.

A lifelong Sarasota resident, I was heavily influenced by my architect father of the Sarasota School movement. Whose philosophy of "less is more" speaks to the visuals I create in design and photography.

After graduating from RCAD, I pursued a career in Interior Design, and opened a studio and later a retail/design store. I was introduced to photography when I received a Minolta film camera in the 1980's. Fascinated with eclectic subjects like, machinery, architecture and much more; inspires the less is more philosophy into my work. My focus on day-to-day subjects and architecture pushes the boundaries of my creativity in applying the four elements, mentioned above.
