A bit about myself.

I work in the travel industry, so I travel as much as my wallet wil allow. Unfortunately, these days it seems to allow me to only go within a few hours of my home.

I am single and have lived in Colorado since I graduated high school in 1975, so you can do the math.

I am passionate about photography, and I am so appreciative for flickr, because my passion has been renewed. Thank you to all of my Flickr friends for helping me with that.

I am a spiritual person, I'm not a member of a specific religion, but feel that I can learn from so many different religions. I am especially drawn to Buddhism and Native American beliefs.

I love music, especially bluegrass and singer/songwriter folk kind of stuff. In the summer I generally try to make it to a couple outdoor festivals, and I'm blessed that there are quite a few in my area.

I enjoy your comments on my photos, but don't enjoy multiple invites, and I have been deleting multiple invites and blocking those senders. I don't like doing that, but I have to keep these groups in check somehow. If you add one of my shots as a favorite -which I so appreciate- please take the time to make a comment as well.

I trust that you won't use my photos for anything without my specific permission.

I guess that sums it up

Thank you for your visits and comments. I appreciate them so much

All my photographic images are my own. Do not use, copy or edit any of my photographs without my written permission. If you want to use my photo for commercial or private use, please contact me. I have my settings on All Rights Reserved for all my photos, but Flickr keeps having a problem and sometimes the rights flip to other settings and Flickr doesn't seem able to fix it. Again, if you want to use my photo for commercial or private use, please contact me.

MY photos are NOT to be used or reproduced, COPIED, BLOGGED, USED in any way shape or form without my written consent. Understand clearly these are my photographs and use of them by anyone is an infringement of my copyrights and personal artistic property!

Pam's a travelin' woman and she's always got a camera along with her. Take some time, grab a brew, kick back and let her take you on a journey to places uncommon through her lenses. It's always fun, frequently informative and very artfully presented. I'm pleased to know her and have her as a long time contact; Well don… Read more

Pam's photos capture not only the warm heart of America's Great Plain heartland, but also the awe inspiring Rocky Mountain landscapes and the cultural riches of her far flung travels to exotic places.

Every day, I look for photos Pam has done- they're instantly recognizable. She has an eye that unerringly makes the most of the mundane.

Pam, I want to thank you for providing me with a beautiful insight to your part of our world with your wonderful photos. You also give such kind words and encouragement to others about their photos, and I can only speak for myself, when saying they are greatly appreciated.

Pam hardly needs another testimonial, particularily one from someone like me who has only been taking and submitting photos for a few months, but I feel the need to contribute a few words. Pam is a very giving, caring person who happens to be one heck of a photographic commentator. She is a keen observer of nature and the built landscape and an excellent communicator of what she sees. She is respected and admired by those who have been fortunate enough to cross paths with her. When I log on to flickr I look for her new posts first and am only dissapointed if I don't find some. Pam personifies what is good and best about photography and the joy of sharing it.

Pam seems to have been born part Gypsy. At least she has those profound tendencies of the Americana Gypsy, the wanderlust to go and explore, to see what’s out there and then present it for our enjoyment. She fires my imagination and I so enjoy sharing her adventures. Thanks, Pam, for taking me with you on the trip. I… Read more

I got my newfound appreciation of grain elevators from you so I know the passing scene can count on you to respect it with the quality you always bring back.

She refuses to allow us to sink into this morass, reminding us all why we came here in the first place, our love of photography. Others here have mentioned that Pam has "the eye". You can spend thousands of dollars on camera equipment, and get years of training and still never have it. She's got it in spades. She can make a grain elevator majestic, take your breath away with a beautiful landscape, and make you yearn for a simpler America. It's an honor to know Pam and a privilege to view her inspiring work.

A fellow Kansan, and a great one at that, Pam's daily comments throughly help me through my tedious days longing for Spring and the freedom of the days to come. Her comments are insightful and and abbreviated with the essence only Pam 's comments have. No nonsense and to the point. Made to feel good like warmed apple pie and cold vanilla ice cream. As for her technique in photography I've watched it grow and test the limits of our craft weekly. I'd shoot with her any day. I hope to meet you some day Pam. (SKY-VU)

Hands down, Pam is the nicest girl on flickr. Besides having a wonderful eye, and taking fabulous pics, she has got to be the most positive participant on flickr, and always has a kind word and commentary on people's posts. Pam is possibly best known for her "SIGN" pictures, as she is a master at capturing vintage signage, but it's her nature shots that are reminiscent of Ansel Adams that really blow me away!!! Although I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting Pam in person, I can tell without a shadow of a doubt that she is the genuine article. Real people. She has a good heart and my god! Her sense of humour! I feel lucky to have her as part of my little Flickr world!

Being part of the "old sign freaks" crowd here on Flickr, I sat up and took notice of Pam when I started seeing her sign shots appearing. She went from "good" to "very good" quickly with these shots, and is now part of our "sign freak" family, as far as I'm concerned. She's more than just sign photos though, as a walk through her stream will proved. Couple that with a darn nice person, and you've got Pam. Spend some time and browse her stuff. You'll enjoy it!
