~ I live in Canada. I am a landscape painter and sculptor. I live in a peaceful mountainous rural area in southern British Columbia. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1986, from the San Francisco Art Institute.

~ I like to paint landscapes, in a colourful realistic style. I continue to explore the emotional and symbolic possibilities of landscape painting.

~ I often paint from memory and the photographs I take. I paint in all mediums but oils are my favorite. I'm interested in the traditional techniques of painting. I like working with pure pigments in egg tempera and grinding my own oil paints. I continue to study and experiment.

Watercolour is a new medium of exploration for me. It's been great for sketching outdoors and helping me to be more spontaneous.
