I enjoy making quilts and other quilted items, sewing simple garments, and making other crafts. I dabble in fabric paints, fabric dyes. I like backpacking, camping, hiking, and walk about 3 miles every day.

I love bright colors, cool quilting designs, happy fabrics. I used to love batiks and have a lot of them, but have been leaning toward the more modern fabrics in the last year.

I love travel and want to do more of it if only I had more vacation time from work. I love information technology work because it requires analysis, creative thinking and design; if only it could be done with fabric and a sewing machine.
