Long time photographer since the age of 15, with a special interest British native Orchids - most of the plants shown in my Album were photographed between 1979 thru 1989, but I still look for new sites whenever possible.

Then I used 35mm film cameras, how I wish I then had today's Digital equipment.

Please note that the dates attached to many of the photos refers to when the original color transparency was re-photographed to get the uploadable digital version.

Being now the age of 81 (in 2024) it is likely that my years of botanising are behind me; so I'm launching this curated Flicker site into the future, dedicated to my long years of searching for these fascinating plants.
