I was born in 1949 in Exmouth, South West England. I trained as a carpenter then after moving to London I trained as a groundsman (I missed the wide open spaces). My lifetime loves have been aviation and prehistoric life. I cut my teeth on Photoshop doing aircraft skins for flight simulators. These images are mainly pencil drawings finished off in Photoshop. The backgrounds are mostly photos, some converted to watercolour in Photoshop. Many of the photos are from Exmouth and the surrounding area (sea, sand and cliffs are timeless). Because of my interest in aviation I have veered towards Pterosaurs. I would like to thank my partner Elaine for teaching me how to use Photoshop, Dave for his help with the website, Paul and Emma for their New Zealand photos, plus numerous palaeontologists and paleo artists for their inspiration.
