I am a Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts classically-trained fine artist. My work has been exhibited in Philadelphia, Delaware, New York, Canada, and Oregon. Paintings by Jaynee Levy-Polis are in collections in the USA, Ireland, Europe, and Israel. I paint my life.

I am a Philadelphian at heart, having living there until 2006, when we moved to a house in Delaware with way less steps, more space and a garden. I have been married to the same man for almost all my life. Our children are grown and we dote on our grandchildren. We are parents to six cats and their minder, Tuesday, our dog. All of the people in my paintings are from my imagination. Any resemblance to a real person is accidental. The only time my paintings are of specific people, they're portraits, and the names of the people are given.

Not every single piece of artwork is here. I've been painting since I was thirteen. My interests change as do my opportunities to draw. The erotic work I did around 2000 can still be seen at my website: painterjayne.gallery At least 50 pieces were stolen over the years, usually from galleries during exhibits, some from my garage. I'm a feisty woman. Someone got angry and stole a lot of work. Delaware is different from Philly.
