Painting was my first love until my kids came along, I had a hard time fitting my painting in. So, I started crocheting, then knitting, then beading and so on and so on. I really love making art that can become family heirlooms well after I am gone. I can knit or crochet anywhere and my kids have made some stuff with me too. I have started on crocheting more sculptural objects too. When I am not creating or hanging out with my kids I am working as a Birth Doula around town. Thanks, Juanita
