Just a keen amateur bird photographer trying to get some decent bird photographs!

Currently now using a Canon R7 Mirrorless camera and a 7D mk2 with a Canon 800mm f11.0 lens and a Canon 100-400L IS 2 (although many older images here have been taken with a Canon 20D, Canon 40D and Canon 7D).

I have recently traded in my Canon 500mm f4 lens which was becoming increasingly too heavy for me and the new 800mm has changed my whole approach to bird photography when used with the R7 despite it being a fixed f11 aperture.
