First off, I hear you ask, “What is a Pads brat?”

In a nutshell, it’s someone who is the offspring of a soldier or officer of the British Armed forces. Or more specifically, a child that has lived in Armed Forces accommodation with their parents while they were serving.

That’s me.

I love restoring old photos and some of my pictures here will reflect that, although I am a budding hobby photographer.

The majority of my pictures here are family photos from bygone days, photos that hold sentimental value. They might not be particularly good in terms of quality, but that doesn’t matter. For the most part this will be a dumping ground for family photos for my vast extended and ever growing family to look at.
