2025 Is just about over. Good riddance to it! Sometime during 2026 I hope to be able to play around with AI a little so I can be competent enough with the medium so as not to feel like I'm behind the times. And I also hope to become well enough to get out and do more photography, instead of sitting around the house and taking pics of my meals and flowers in my garden. I'm tired of re-processing some of my old shots and reposting them. And speaking of processing, I ran into a major glitch last year when Microsoft discontinued Windows 10 and forced me (and millions of others) to buy a new computer. So far, I have not been able to get my old Photoshop CS5.1 discs loaded on the new machine (it doesn't even have an external slot but maybe I can use a Think Pad or something like that). In fact, it may never load. As a matter of principle, I object to the idea of entering into a long term rental agreement with Adobe to get a new, working copy of the current PS program but maybe that's what I'll have to do. If any of you have been through the same dilemma and found a satisfactory solution, I'd like to hear about it.
