I am mostly drawn toward landscapes and particularly shooting into the light, with both its challenges and frequently surprising results. Although I like to use a range of filters to achieve results in camera, the ability to ‘tune’ a RAW image with inherently high dynamic range in Adobe Lightroom can allow me to capture with that potential in mind. The process is, perhaps, akin to those lovely moments in printing from film, when the image is first cast from enlarger to base, during exposure and manipulation, and when it begins to appear on paper - deciding when to move from developer to stop bath... But those sliders offer so much more - including the ability to go back in time!

I have recently changed camera and started wirelessly tethering it to a tablet. Having a larger live view source and extensive remote camera control is proving very interesting... If a little battery hungry!

I would appreciate your comments - including any (hopefully) constructive criticism. Any questions are also welcome. And if you were to feel inclined to ‘fave’ the occasional image, I would be very grateful.
