Drag to set position!
I am 43 years old. I work as an assistant to a well-known literary agent based in Paris. I also work as a freelance translator, mainly subtitling movies.
I don't know much about photography I'm afraid. I'm mostly inspired when I'm in Australia, hence the content of my photostream.
I like to see my photos as a celebration of life in the Australian outback.
All the photos in my stream were taken during the one-year Oz roadtrip I did between December 2007 and December 2008. I drove 77,000 kilometres in a Nissan X-Trail.
Important note: all of my photos are pretty close to what came out of the camera. They are only slightly enhanced in ZoomBrowser or DPP. No additions, deletions, cropping etc. And absolutely no HDR.; they are all single shots, handheld. My only accessory is a polarising filter. And absolutely no composite photos (i.e. no added clouds etc.)!!
Please do not use my photos without my permission. If you are interested, e-mail me.
And view my photos on Flickr Hive Mind (and Black Magic)

Stunning gallery Claire, I have travelled around a bit of Australia myself but before I took up photography. You have really captured the heart and soul of Australia, well done!! Malcolm
All I can say is that you have an eye for photography OZ,and I thankyou for sharing your beautiful shots of Australia with the rest of the world. You have captured the "highs&lows" of our beautiful country.
If we all had the photographic genius of Oz then these would not be up there among the best on flickr. Tina Turner once sang "Simply the Best"......
This is the first Testimonial I have ever written... but I will say one thing... these photos make me want to go back to Australia in the worst way... I love the way they portray the real Australia. I would love to see what photos you would take on the coast... love them, love them, love them... like someone else said … Read more

Read lessI missed email to my flickr account until this morning and so hadn't seen the note from ozroadwarrior until just now. For someone who thinks she doesn't know much about photography, I'd give anything to have your camera smarts lady. These images of Australia are very professional. I'm envious
Do not go back to France, stay and keep upoading your beautiful photography of outback Australia. I have not see better.
