Just an old hillbilly,(54) managed to get my children raised, and now I have decided to build a house, by myself, and my sister Lou has helped me a lot, and some of my children have helped from time to time, but they are busy as I am and was at their age, and I do not begrudge them. I Don't have a budget, just working out of my pocket, that's why I am doing the work myself, especially since I am only working half of a week now. I plan on using several different green building methods like earthbags, papercrete, and whatever else comes to me, oh, my trees of course! It should be interesting. And if it sounds like I am totaly unorganized, I am, but, I am the only person that has to put up with me , so it is ok. And if I don't spell right, sorry, just remember, I am just an old hillbilly! Since I have a mobile mansion to live in, it is no big deal that it is taking so long other than I would really like to live there some day. This is an experiment, a big one, biggest one I have ever undertaken, but the most interesting and educational one I have ever been involved with. I hope that my story will help inspire other people in this world that are willing to work to have a good home, but don't have much money. If I can do this I believe anybody else can do it.
