Hello, welcome and thank you kindly for taking the time to visit my Flikr site.

I have been a keen amateur photographer for over a decade and have been fortunate enough to live, work and travel to some truly inspiring locations around the world, as well as capture moments on my doorstep; please accept my humble apologies if this shows too much in my work!

I am always trying to learn and see in different ways; photography has opened up much more of the world around me than I could have imagined: from the small details of insects and plants and the subtle cast of a creamy bokeh, to the grand splendor of a rising or setting sun.

Most of the images represented here have been lightly reworked in photoshop – perhaps to remove a colour cast, or a blotch of dust – but all stay true to the original “vision”. For is it not true that photography is more than a medium for factual communication of ideas; it is a creative art?
