All of life is an art, from painting a masterpiece to caring for a dying patient. There is beauty in everything from something as grand as galaxies colliding to an everyday rainstorm or well-written HTML code.

I try to capture some of that everyday beauty with my camera, and provide a glimpse of life how I see it. I will often post multiple shots of a single subject, exploring the subtle variations in my subject.

I'm an artist, a former EMT (emergency medical technician), a storm spotter, and a practicing Wiccan, so saying that my interests are varied is an understatement. I constantly seek to learn new things, dream new dreams, and help heal those who I can, and be a comfort to those I can't.

December 2008 - I have been been recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, to go along with my rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn's Disease. This means that I may be very slow at answering messages, but I am trying to get through the back log that piled up when I was in the hospital for a month over the summer.

Medical terminology is used as much as possible when I write about my health problems because I'm not out to shock. Overall my blog is PG to PG-13 with the occasional four-letter word thrown in on a bad day.

Oubliette Studios My art blog, which is very much under construction at a snail's pace. Eventually I will post photos of my various artworks - paintings, sculptures, jewelery, or anything else I might create.
