I began taking photos as a teenager in the 90s. We had a darkroom at school so I learned to develop film and make prints. My first own camera was an Olympus Mju II but I also took a lot of photos with a Canon EOS 600 slr and occasionally with some other cameras as well. My favorite film type was color slide film and Fuji Velvia 50 in particular; I was absolutely fascinated by National Geographic and all the stunning color photography in the stories.

I mostly shoot on film and do my best to learn more about old film cameras and film photography techniques, seeking my way to see and take photos.

What you see here is in a way the outcome of this process; sometimes very close to what I'm looking for and often still very far from it.
