"About Thabarwa Meditation Centre"

Thabarwa Meditation Centre, headed by Sayadaw U Ottamasara is established principally for Vipassana Insight Meditation.

Since its establishment, without limiting the number of residents, it takes on everyone, regardless of age, race, health condition and provides them with food, clothing, shelter and medical care for free.

This is the place where Sayadaw propagate Vipassana Insight Meditation; yogis can practice Dhamma meditation with single-minded concentration; one can learn the basic principles of universal truth and liberation from all attachments; people do not feel helplessness over their miseries of rejection, loneliness, worries over disease and sufferings; voluntary donors can donate their labour, cash and materials which are spent on noble cause; Sayadaw shows his disciples to follow the right way to end all suffering and to realize nibbana and guides terminally ills to find true dhamma, the true path of salvation in their dying moments.
