I'm interested in exploring the tension between the human measure that dictates the shape of an object, and the life of the object itself. Most objects are made explicitly for the human parts that are supposed to hold, control or guide it. A chair for instance is made for humans to sit on, but a chair has also its own shape and story. A missing human part from an object that serves or has served humans, often evokes loneliness. This is the central theme in my photos.
