I have always enjoyed photography, but never seemed to make the time to get serious about it. When I decided to retire from the high tech world back in 2015, I decided to bite the bullet and get a DSLR. I started with a Canon Xsi and I have moved up to a Canon R6 Mark ii at this point. I have done a few exhibits in the local area and created a website which will be in a constant state of flux as I learn how to do things ( www.artnortonphoto.com )

I love the outdoors. Whether it is a trip along the coast of New England or walking down a path in a forest somewhere in the Northeast, there are always beautiful sites to see and admire. When I am out and about, I always have the feeling of being free and being close to nature which, to me, is a wonderful feeling.

If you have any thoughts or comments about my photography please let me know. One of the best ways to grow is by feedback from others.

As of April 2024 I traded in all of my EF gear and have gone completely mirrorless:

Canon EOS R6 Mark ii

Canon RF24-240mm

Canon RF100-500mm

Canon RF 1.4x extender

Various filters, flashes, etc.
