ÖTILLÖ is the origin of the fast growing endurance sport “Swimrun”. The race is ranked by CNN as one of the toughest endurance challenges in the world and is the Swimrun World Championship.

The original ÖTILLÖ race (est 2006), unique in its kind, is a Swimrun competition where 160 teams of two swim between and run over 24 of the 100 000 stunning islands in the Stockholm archipelago. The total distance is 75 km of which 65 km are trail running and 10 km are open water swimming.

The original ÖTILLÖ has become the World Championship and there are now a whole series of international ÖTILLÖ Swimrun races.
