OTIF develops unified railway law to connect Europe, Asia and Africa for more than 125 years! This intergovernmental organisation has 50 Member States and 1 Associate Member.

The Convention concerning International Carriage by Rail (COTIF) is OTIF’s basic text. COTIF comprises two parts:

-Convention itself, which governs the running of OTIF

-the eight Appendices that establish uniform railway law.(CIM, CIV, RID, CUI, CUV, APTU, ATMF, EST)
