It’s a well known proverb that “the eye is the window to one’s soul”. With that in mind what Osvaldo sees through his lens and brings to us through his images reveals much of his soul - his goodness, creativity, humour , kindness and empathy. It also reveals a lot about the world he lives in and his perception of it, and so even though separated by thousands of miles we are able to share in his journeys and experiences as if we were actually there. He’s kept me enthralled with his “F.R.I.E.N.D’s project”, his “Road Trip Project”, and his love of landscapes especially those adorned with Poinciana Trees ☺. Not only innovative with his project ideas he has mind blowing images in his “Laser Art “and his “An Idea in my Mind, a Camera in my Hand” sets to name a few. It goes without saying that Osvaldo is an extremely talented and versatile photographer. Many of his images have been recognized in Explored but now it has been a thrill to see him achieve the special accolade of having several of his images published in a photography book. Congratulations Osvaldo!!! It has been a joy to have you as a friend on Flickr over the last 16 months and see you grow as a photographer. You are so deserving and so genuine. You really take the time to look at your friends images as well and give feedback and encouragement. I look forward to your return to Flickr when you’re ready and seeing more great photography.
