I've been interested in photography most of my life. I was blessed with the opportunity to take a class in black and white photography when I was a senior in high school back in 1998. For Christmas 2004 my girlfriend, Stacey, who is now my wife got me my first digital camera. Once I figured out how to use it I fell in love with it and took it all over the place with me. I haven't used a roll of film since. Then for Christmas 2009 she got me a much higher resolution camera so my pictures should only get better and better.

My favorite places to shoot are on the Oregon coast, where I live, and in the mountains. Any river or stream is great. We are blessed here in Oregon to have just about every landscape and climate imaginable from the beach to snow-capped mountains. From rain forest to desert and everything in between.

Last year we got a dog named Libby who keeps us on our toes and makes photography even more fun. I will try to include more shots with her in the future.
