Ospreywatcher. What can I say? Firstly,he has the second best "flickr name" on the site, but thats by the by really. What you get with Ospreywatcher (other than the good name!) is a large set of technically very accomplished photographs. From exquisite detailed close-up macro shots of flowers, butterflies and insects, to incredible thought-provoking landscapes (very often completely unique on the site) through to wonderful shots of our feathered friends, and pretty-well everything in between! If I had to describe Ospreywatcher's photographs in three words, those words would be compelling, colour and composition. His images literally drip colour from the monitor - big, bold, brave photographs - not at all easy to achieve successfully in my opinion. And then. To top it all. He throws in the most delightful black and white image I've ever seen on this site. Look for a bridge in silhouette (you'll not miss it!) and you'll see exactly what I mean. Viewpoints seem particularly important in Ospreywatcher's stream also. I have no idea how he sees the shots he does, but I'm so glad he does. And finally there's the amazing consistency. Maybe its just one photo a day - but its ALWAYS worth looking at. Thats a good trick that - and one I should certainly try to learn from. Ospreywatcher, OW, Iain, your photographs are some of the most inspirational on this site, and your sense of humour is a breath of fresh air . Keep up the wonderful photography, forcing mortals like me to push myself in my hobby! TBR
