I'm Osama Khalid ,or simply OsamaK, a contributor to Wikipedia, GNU Project and some other Free Culture projects.

I use this account to contact and thank people who publish Freely-licensed (under CC-BY or CC-BY-SA) photos that are used in Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. In addition, I use it to contact some of my family members and to see their photos.

I encourage everybody to use one of the two liberal Creative Commons licenses for their photos, which allows people to share and to effectively use the Internet to build a large public library that can be used by everyone in the planet. Contact me if you want any help about using these sharing-friendly licenses! I'm very helpful in this matter. ;)

Frankly, there is no single good reason for using "All rights reserved, period " license (if you find any, please let me know). If you don't want people to see and share your photos then please never publish them on the Internet. "All rights reserved" doesn't stop bad people from "abusing" your photos, it just stop good people.
