Life is the intersection of all possible films; the world is densely populated with stories. Photographs are a slice across those stories, but without the distracting information of how everything got there. I like the chance photography gives us to imagine what happened - letting us peek around the corner onto another stage.
Somewhere there is an album of photos I took when I was four - all flowers, birds, dogs and blurry things at waist height. Now I'm using a Coolpix 775 [and begging for something newer] and an old Minolta SLR, and it's strange to see how many of my current photos are still dogs, birds, blurry things.
