Orrin is a wonderful photographer. He is original. Taking pictures of things he enjoys and not what people would expect. His van pictures are great. Brings back memories of the oldies, but of course, the goodies! He really just seems to find the best stuff on the streets. Random stuff. Interesting random stuff. But, definitely wonderful to the eye.

Orrin's heart is as big as his lens. Or maybe it's bigger. It's large is what I'm trying to say. His heart. I hope to have one just as big some day. (Am speaking now about both heart and lens.)
my theory is that good music influences people - orrin is the best example. I wonder how his pictures would be if he'd be into 1st wave ska - I guess black and white only.
I've always known Orrin as a gifted drummer, an even more gifted director--and a great pal. That he is also an enormously talented still photographer is a delight (though hardly unexpected). Bravo, dude!

Viewing Orrin's photography is like wearing a pair of really good sunglasses. It just makes your eyes feel better.
Anytime I want to see my neighbourhood (and beyond) looking fabulous, I can look at Orrin's photographs. He beats me to photos I was planning to take, but how could I complain when they look this good?

Oh, O. Orrin has great faculty of sight, as he arranges the world in his view finder. He sees architecturally, as he drafts his plans for a bold breed of sight. Sometimes warm and ultimately human, sometimes cool and linear, Orrin's images are seen like one sees through the opening of a needle. At times he journeys through the circular area of relative calm at the center of a cyclone, where one has the sense of him being especially attentive...and seeing continuously. Orrin is one of my favorite stars in the constellation of people I call friends...and I am proud to have been his "guardian angel" one time many years ago. Bless the day he ever picked up a camera, and bless the day we got on the same bus. Enjoy, as you enter his domain. Chephoto has spoken.
